    This mussel comes from Denmark. The mussel has a thin shell. This is because the mussels are cultivated close to the water surface, so they see extra sunlight. They are generally only a year old when harvested. Don’t be alarmed if the shell breaks while cooking, the flavour will certainly not diminish.
