Yerseke, March 19, 2025 – Last week, the first foundation piles were driven into the ground at Van De Water Seafood, a fish processing company based in Yerseke, marking the beginning of an expansion of its production facility. This milestone represents the next step in the company's growth.

With an outstanding track record in filleting, further processing, and packaging of fish such as cod, haddock, skrei, redfish, and pollock, the company has seen a significant increase in both revenue and sales in recent years.
Since 2024, Krijn Verwijs has been a shareholder in Van De Water Seafood. This collaboration in processing and market approach creates opportunities for further development within the seafood sector. For Krijn Verwijs, fresh fish is a valuable addition to its product range, which is primarily focused on shellfish and crustaceans. The expansion at Van De Water Seafood will increase processing capacity, further optimizing production processes.
