Baked oysters
Warm, comforting and it looks nice too! Fried oysters are a delicious appetizer.

Ingredients
- 12 hollow oysters
- 12 sprigs of salicorne
- 30 gram butter
- 3 tbsp flour
- black pepper
Instructions
Warm, comforting and it looks pretty! Baked oysters are great as a starter.
- Poke the oysters open and loose
- Place them on kitchen paper to drain
- Empty the shells well and put the deep end in the oven so they dry and warm up
- Melt butter in a frying pan, meanwhile pass the oysters through a bowl of flour and black pepper
- When the butter begins to brown fry the floured oysters all around until golden brown
- Place the fried oysters on a shell and add a sprig of raw samphire
- Enjoy!
