Amandes with sea aster pesto

Nutty and briny – the sea aster pesto perfectly complements the flavor of the amandes.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 handful of sea aster
  • 1 handful of toasted pine nuts.
  • 10 gram butter
  • 1 clove garlic
  • black pepper
  • 1 kg amandes

Instructions
 

  • The briny sea aster enhances the salty flavor of the amandes even more! A delicious, nutty appetizer.
  • Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees
  • Schuck the amandes. Tip: put them in the oven in a covered baking tin until they open a little.
  • Place the sea aster, pine nuts, garlic, and butter in a food processor and chop finely, but not so long that it turns into a paste.
  • Distribute the pesto over the opened amandes and sprinkle with some black pepper.
  • Place them in the oven for about 2 minutes. The cooking time depends on how much moisture is left in the shells, so be sure to test one to ensure they don't become dried out and tough!
