Nutty and briny – the sea aster pesto perfectly complements the flavor of the amandes.
Ingredients
2handful of sea aster
1handful of toasted pine nuts.
10grambutter
1clovegarlic
black pepper
1kgamandes
Instructions
The briny sea aster enhances the salty flavor of the amandes even more! A delicious, nutty appetizer.
Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees
Schuck the amandes. Tip: put them in the oven in a covered baking tin until they open a little.
Place the sea aster, pine nuts, garlic, and butter in a food processor and chop finely, but not so long that it turns into a paste.
Distribute the pesto over the opened amandes and sprinkle with some black pepper.
Place them in the oven for about 2 minutes. The cooking time depends on how much moisture is left in the shells, so be sure to test one to ensure they don't become dried out and tough!
