Baked oysters

Warm, comforting and it looks nice too! Fried oysters are a delicious appetizer.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 hollow oysters
  • 12 sprigs of salicorne
  • 30 gram butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • black pepper

Instructions
 

Warm, comforting and it looks pretty! Baked oysters are great as a starter.

  • Poke the oysters open and loose
  • Place them on kitchen paper to drain
  • Empty the shells well and put the deep end in the oven so they dry and warm up
  • Melt butter in a frying pan, meanwhile pass the oysters through a bowl of flour and black pepper
  • When the butter begins to brown fry the floured oysters all around until golden brown
  • Place the fried oysters on a shell and add a sprig of raw samphire
  • Enjoy!
