Mussels with Roquefort sauce

Mosselen met roquefort saus


  • 2 kg cooked mussels click the link for the mussel recipe
  • 300 gram Roquefort
  • 100 ml cream
  • 1 pat butter


  • Cook the mussels - you can find a recipe on our website
  • Meanwhile, melt the butter in a pan
  • Add in the cream
  • Crumble up the roquefort and add them to the pan
  • Stir until you have a smooth sauce
  • Use a skimmer to ladle the mussels into a big bowl
  • Add some of the mussel broth through the roquefort if it is to thick
  • Pour the sauce over the mussels
