Cancale is a small town with a big reputation. Oysters have been harvested here since Roman times — not through mass production, but with craftsmanship passed down through generations. In the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel, the enormous difference between low and high tide, up to 14 meters, creates powerful currents. This allows the oysters to develop into a briny, mineral-rich delicacy.

Vlot online de mosselen besteld en de volgende dag gehaald. Mosselen waren goed proper met veel vlees. Eén minpuntje, veel gebroken schelpen. Als ik die er allemaal uitgehaald had, had ik er zeker een derde verlies gedaan. Was echt niet normaal
