Description

Taste palet: full nutty flavour with a hint of pepper

This oyster finds its origins in the Grevelingenmeer, and can be distinguished bij its high quality and full meat. This oyster is rare; it grows slowly and reproduces with great difficulty, asking for a lot of effort from the seafarmer.

The season for these flat oysters is between September and April: the months with an ‘r’. The French word ‘huître’ is derived from this. There are eight months with an r in its name: eight ‘r’s translates to huit ‘r’
